Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data AlgoTrader NQGC ("we", "us") collects, why, and your rights. We are the data controller for the data described here, and we are based in the United Kingdom.
1. What we collect
- Order and account data: your email address, TradingView username, the Strategies you subscribe to, and your subscription status. You provide these at checkout. We also receive your optional answer to "How did you find us?" and, if a link brought you to our website, a short label for that link or site (for example "x" or "google") and the page you subscribed from, passed to Stripe with your checkout. We do not use cookies or browser storage for this.
- Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe, our merchant of record (Stripe Managed Payments). We never see or store your card details. We receive confirmation of payments, refunds and subscription events.
- Support correspondence: emails and direct messages you send us.
- Reviews: only if you choose to write one, your display name, rating and review text, and the month your subscription started. We publish them on our website after a check for spam and personal details. We keep a record of which subscriber each single-use review link was sent to.
- Newsletter: only if you sign up, your email address and when you signed up. Your email is used to send the monthly forward-results report, our setup guide and occasional notes about new strategies. To stop abuse of the sign-up form, your IP address is held for 10 minutes to limit repeated sign-ups, then discarded. Our newsletter service records which links in our emails are clicked; we do not track whether emails are opened.
Our website is a static site. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics that identify you. The calculators and the prop firm simulator on our Strategy pages run entirely in your browser: the sizes and settings you enter are not sent to us or stored. The review form and the newsletter sign-up are the only places on our website where you can send us information.
Webhook tokens and broker account IDs you enter into a Strategy's settings stay in your own TradingView account and alerts. We do not receive them.
2. Why we use it (legal bases)
- To deliver the Service (contract): granting and removing access to the Strategies on your TradingView username and managing your subscription.
- To communicate (contract / legitimate interest): receipts, access and renewal notices, Strategy update announcements, replies to support requests, and material changes to the Service or these policies.
- To keep records (legal obligation): tax and accounting records of sales.
- To prevent abuse (legitimate interest): detecting shared access and payment abuse.
- To send the newsletter (consent): you sign up yourself, and every email has an unsubscribe link. If someone signed you up without asking, unsubscribe and you will not hear from us again.
- To publish reviews (consent): you choose whether to write one, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.
3. Who we share it with
- Stripe (merchant of record): processes your payment and issues your invoice. See Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle your data.
- TradingView: we submit your TradingView username to grant or remove access to the invite-only Strategies. TradingView processes it under its own privacy policy.
- MailerLite (newsletter service): stores newsletter sign-ups and sends the newsletter on our behalf, under its data processing terms.
- Service providers: website hosting (Cloudflare) and email, bound by data processing terms.
Some providers are outside the UK/EEA. Where they are, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
4. How long we keep it
- Account and subscription data: for the life of your subscription and up to 24 months after it ends, so access can be restored if you return.
- Transaction records: 6 years, as required by UK tax law.
- Support correspondence: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email address, marked as unsubscribed, so that you are not emailed again; ask us and we will delete it.
- Reviews: published reviews for as long as they are published. If you ask us to remove yours, we delete it and our record of the review link we sent you. Reviews we have not published or have removed, and records of review links, for up to 24 months, then deleted.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; restriction of or objection to processing; and a portable copy of data you provided. Deletion requests are honoured except where we must keep data by law (for example tax records). To use any of these rights, email us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
6. Cookies
Our own site sets no cookies and uses no browser storage. The checkout and billing portal operated by Stripe set the cookies needed to process your purchase.
7. Changes and contact
Material changes to this policy will be posted here and, where appropriate, emailed to subscribers. Contact for anything in this policy: support@algotradernqgc.com.
