Forward record

Every trade, as it closes

Both strategies have run in real time on TradingView since 1 October 2026. Each trade is added as it closes, winners and losers alike, and no trade is removed afterwards.

  • Simulated fills, not a brokerage account. Trades come from TradingView's fills for each strategy running in real time on a dedicated tracking alert, at the script's default settings.
  • Gross points per contract, before commission. Each strategy is shown on its own; the two are never added together.
  • A trade appears only once it has closed. Open positions are never shown.
  • Missed alerts are counted, not hidden. If a missed alert leaves a trade's result unmeasurable, the trade is left out and counted under "Missed alerts". A trade whose alerts are all lost can't be detected this way, which is why we also check the record against TradingView's own report.
  • A short record proves very little. Judge it against each strategy's backtest, including its worst stretches, over months rather than days.

CFTC Rule 4.41 statement. These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under-or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.

How this record is kept

Each strategy runs as a TradingView strategy alert on a 1-minute chart (ICT22 Model on MNQ1!, Midas Model on MGC1!) that sends every fill to our server the moment it happens. Trades are rebuilt from the whole fill log at least every 30 seconds, so a delayed or repeated alert can't change a result. Trades are grouped by the CME trading day they closed on: a trade closing at or after 18:00 ET counts toward the next day. Weeks run Monday to Sunday. The same figures feed each strategy page's Trade results and the daily post on X (@AlgoTraderNQGC), which goes out in the same format on losing days as on winning days.

One correction, 1 to 5 October 2026. For the first days our server rejected the tracking alerts because of a key error. The first forward trades, both on 5 October, were restored by hand that day from TradingView's alert log. The strategies' own TradingView reports, exported the same day, show no other trade in that window.
